Megan Collins will debut her newest book, Thicker Than Water, in conversation with Juliet Grames, author of The Seven or Eight Deaths of Stella Fortuna.

As a special bonus, our event is 4 days before the official publication date, and attendees will be able to get their books early!  

The University of Hartford Presidents’ College is sponsoring The Silent Book Club, a.k.a., The Introvert’s Happy Hour at Playhouse on Park, and (weather permitting) the River Bend Book Truck will be there!

On Friday, April 7 2023 at Real Art Ways, Aidan Levy will be joined with Tom Reney in a conversation about Levy’s book Saxophone Colossus, the Life and Music of Sonny Rollins. This is a free community event. In collaboration with the Hartford Jazz Society and the Hartt School of the Performing Arts.

Such losses are not an option if we wish to continue our current standard of living on Planet Earth. The good news is that none of this is inevitable. Doug Tallamy will discuss simple steps that each of us can- and must- take to reverse declining biodiversity and will explain why we, ourselves, are nature’s best hope.
