Writers' Workshops (Registration Required)
“Get Started and Keep Going: Creating a Writing Life”
Make the first step, then make the commitment, to the writing life you desire. This class will act as a catalyst for your writing process: how to get started, how to collect and encourage ideas, how to enlist your brain to activate your pen, how to become the writer you know you can be.
Candlelight Writers Workshops at River Bend are hosted by Jane Gordon Julien. Jane has been asking questions since she was a kid in the borough of Queens, in New York City. She is still asking them, during a decades-long career in which her work has appeared (for the past 19 years) in The New York Times, as well as in Newsday, the Los Angeles Times, NBC/Today, the now defunct and still-missed Northeast magazine, for the Associated Press, as a columnist for The Hartford Courant, and more.
Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00pm, April 3 - May 22 at River Bend Bookshop. For more inofrmation and to register, contact Jane.
